Yesterday was a nice clear 65 degree day so the newly constructed GL1800 (my red one) went on it’s maiden voyage. The longer wheelbase was a success! Smoother ride, lighter steering and less wind wander. It’s nice when one makes changes with the intent to improve and it actually pays off.
The Blue GL is looking real good, frame is on, wheel hubs drilled and mounted, fork tube shorties machined and almost ready. Tonight the steering sector goes together and soon it will be ready to roll.
